Meet your Home School Team

I'm Mrs. Kim Leach. I am the new Home Education Coordinator at YCS, and I am excited to step into this position. I am an alumnus of YCS and am looking forward to joining the staff. I have been blessed to have co-commanded Awana for the past 17 years, and I enjoy leading worship and playing the piano at my local church.

I currently homeschool my two beautiful, growing daughters (ages 13 and 11) and have done so for the past seven years. I also facilitated my Grade 12 nephew in his final year of school. I am eager to meet all the YCS families and partner with them as they teach their children to know and serve our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

I am organized and can't wait to help parents train well-rounded young men and women who are ready to take on anything! I have experience with many different approaches to home education and look forward to learning even more. I am passionate about Jesus, homeschooling, chocolate, coffee, and homeschool planning- just ask anyone who knows me!
